Coming this Christmas, "The Nut", a new ballet based on the festive classic "The Nutcracker". First performance expected 16 December, watch the Group notices for more information.
"Windows" is the Company's second ballet, with original choreography by Inarra Saarinen and a score by Louis Volare.
"Windows" is a series of vignettes about seeing glimpses of a person's life and loves. Set in the 1950s, we see a woman alone in her apartment, some teenagers dancing in a diner, and an old couple in their home and memories. Have any of them they found their love?
After each performance, there is a question and answer session for those interested in the dancer's view, technical requirements, how the ballet was made, Company philosophy, and so on.
Performances are in the theatre at IBM 10 (12,191,21) every Sunday and Wednesday at 5:00pm SLT. Bring a friend for an evening at the ballet!
We also now have performances on Tuesdays at 3pm SLT for our Euro friends.
"Sitting in audiance at the SL Ballet, having a delighful evening. Gorgeous scenery, costumes and the dancers are putting their hearts into their efforts. Bravo!"
